Fieldwork Studio

Fieldwork Studio is a self-initiated concept: an invented research and design studio running a half-day discovery workshop for an invented ferry operator. The eight-slide workshop deck looks like the room it will be used in. Every slide sits on grid paper, the agenda and research themes are sticky notes, exercises carry timers, and Kalam handwriting does the facilitating. The journey map, emotion curve and impact–effort grid are all editable shapes that teams can move during the session.

Concept note: Fieldwork Studio and Harbourline Ferries are invented, and this was not a client commission. Interview counts, themes and timings are concept data flagged in the speaker notes.
